DHAKA, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh's central bank governor Ahsan H. Mansur said Wednesday that steps are underway to integrate more international payment platforms to boost global market access for small entrepreneurs.
"We want SMEs to get payments seamlessly through platforms like PayPal," he said while addressing the Annual Conference and Workshop 2025 at the Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation in Dhaka.
He also called for efforts to modernize and support small and cottage industries by strengthening supply chains, encouraging integration with larger firms, and building robust digital and sustainable platforms. ■
