ODENSE, Denmark, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia's Jonatan Christie and South Korea's An Se-young captured men's and women's singles titles respectively at the BWF Denmark Open here on Sunday.
In the men's singles final, newly crowned world champion Shi Yuqi of China faced sixth seed Christie. After losing the first game 13-21, Christie fought back to take the next two 21-15, 21-15 to seal his comeback victory. The win gave Christie his second title of the season and ended Shi's 20-match winning streak in international competitions.
In the women's singles final, No. 2 seed Wang Zhiyi of China struggled in the opening game, losing 21-5. Wang raced to an 18-10 lead in the second, but Olympic champion An rallied to level the score at 18-18 and went on to win 24-22.
In two all-South Korean and all-Chinese finals, South Korea's Baek Ha-na and Lee So-hee defeated teammates Kim Hye-jeong and Kong Hee-yong 2-1 to claim the women's doubles title, while China's Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping beat compatriots Jiang Zhenbang and Wei Yaxin 2-0 in the mixed doubles to lift their sixth trophy of the season.
Japan's Takuro Hoki and Yugo Kobayashi won the men's doubles crown. ■
