BEIJING, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) -- Henan FC secured a crucial 2-0 home victory against Changchun Yatai, while Dalian Yingbo was held to a 0-0 draw by Wuhan Three Towns as the Chinese Super League's 27th round concluded on Sunday.
Henan displayed excellent form against Changchun, with two second-half goals earning it three valuable points. The victory dealt a heavy blow to Changchun's survival hopes, leaving the bottom-placed team in a precarious position.
Earlier on Sunday, Dalian dominated possession at home but failed to break through Wuhan's solid defense. The visitors' goalkeeper Guo Jiayu made several crucial saves to preserve the clean sheet.
